Work is Murder follows the story of Simon, a poor sap, dragging himself to his miserble job each day. It's Simon's birthday today and he's looking to change his life around. First thing on the agenda: ask his cocky boss Luis for a long overdue raise. What starts out to be a great day turns into a nightmare. It begins with Burt, a slacker employee, nagging Simon to do his faxes; and Hank stealing Simon's tuna sandwich for the umpteenth time. After being rejected for the raise and everyone mocking him, left and right, Simon flips out in an unusually subdued manner.
